Belts are the secret

Structural PM planting machines owe their superior product-friendliness wholly to their belt system.  A sophisticated system of belts transport the tubers into the ground.  After this careful placement, the seed is then meticulously covered over; a system which completely avoids drops and any other potential source of product-damage.  Naturally, this also applies to large or small, rough, irregular or elongated, germinated or cut tubers.  The belt planting machine is indeed the most friendly system for all types of tubers!

Constant and equal planting depth

The parallogram construction, onto which the planting elements and the covering discs have been attached,, guarantees a constant planting depth.  The covering discs and openers are steplessly adjustable for row distances up to 92cm.  Furthermore, the depth control wheels are fully independently adjustable in height and width.

Openers prevent rolling

The specially constructed openers prevent rolling of the seed at high operating speeds.  This design also allows the mounting of different types of discs and coverers.

Covering hood

Even longer planting speeds are possible with a longer ridging hood under the machine.  The pressure on the ridging hood can be continually hydraulically adjusted from the cabin to form a perfect drill under any conditions.  Furthermore, the ridging hood is located directly behind the covering discs, which ensures the placement of seed in the centre of the ridges, even on inclined surfaces.
