DIRECTIONS

C M Mercer is situated just off the A49 between Leominster and Hereford, on the A417 Gloucester road.  Below are several directions to us from various areas of the country.

 

From M5 exit at junction 7 (Worcester South).  Take A4103 Worcester to Hereford road.  Stay on this road to Newtown Cross.  Turn right onto A417 signposted Leominster.   Continue along this road.  Take second exit (straight over) at the Burley Gate roundabout, signposted A417 Leominster.  Continue along this road, you will pass Saffrons Cross Garage on your left.  Approximately 2 miles after Saffrons Garage, you will pass Hampton Court on your left, you will now see the signs for C M Mercer on the verge on the right.  Our driveway is on the right hand side almost immediately after Hampton Court, it is a large concrete drive.  If you reach the junction with the A49 you have gone about 1/4 mile too far!

 

From Hereford.  Take A49 signposted Leominster.  Follow this road up over Dinmore Hill, on the other side at the bottom of the hill, there is an Esso fuel station and a Little Chef on the left hand side, opposite is the A417 Gloucester Road.  Turn right onto the Gloucester road.  Carry on for approximately half a mile, you will go over a small river bridge and up a bank, at the top of the bank is a turning on the left hand side, signposted C M Mercer.  It is a large concrete drive.  If you find yourself going past a castle (Hampton Court) on the right hand side, you've gone too far!

 

From Leominster.  Take A49 signposted Hereford.  Follow the road for approximately 4 miles, you will pass the Cadbury's factory on the left hand side, go straight over the roundabout by Cadbury's.  About quarter of a mile along the road, before you go up DInmore Hill is a turning on the left hand side signposted A417 Gloucester.  It is opposite a Little Chef and Esso Garage.  Turn left onto the A417.  Approximately half a mile on the left hand side is the concrete drive way signposted C M Mercer.  If you find yourself going past a castle (Hampton Court) on the right hand side, you've gone too far!
